The story
Two children set out to save their mother’s eyes. Instead, they discovered they were the ones who needed the help most.
Both were diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome. Then airway issues. Mild sleep apnea. A leg-length difference. Scoliosis. They had reached into a beehive they did not know was there.
What they found was that none of it was separate. Their path led them into territory almost nobody has mapped, where the eyes, the brain, the skull, the airway and the nervous system are one system, and a problem in any of them shows up in all of them.
So they went looking, and found ten worlds that had never spoken to each other: neuro-optometry, primitive reflexes, SOT and craniosacral, airway dentistry, myofunctional therapy, functional neurology, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology and movement.
Every one of those worlds had a piece of the answer. None of them had all of it. To reverse what these children are living with, all ten have to be connected.
